That Showtime Feeling

THAT FEELING

Is it That Feeling when we practice each week
Learning the dance, the song, and technique.
Watching your face as you try and learn,
Knowing you cannot wait until you return.

Or is it That Feeling when on the stage
Ready to perform regardless of age.
Dancing your best without any fears
Singing like angels it sounds to our ears.

Or is it That Feeling when we are on tour
Getting up early and on the bus by four.
Talking, Dancing and Singing to wherever we go
With hair up in curlers to be ready for the show.

Or is it That Feeling of being with Friends
Hoping the fun and excitement never ends.
Those special moments we gather together
Creating the Bonds that will last forever.

Or is it That Feeling of all these combined
It’s by a much greater Spirit that we are entwined.
That Feeling we have is Unique and True
Not shared by many, just a chosen few.

Through Showtime we met, and gladly we say
Our lives have been Blessed in a most special way.
That Feeling is rare and it will not stop
Because it is YOU, who are the “Cream of the Crop”

To call you our friends is not nearly enough
You’ve seen us in times that are easy and tough.
That Feeling to us, Forever will we Treasure
To call you Our Family, for us is a Pleasure.

Love, Miss Pam and Mr. Matt

Alumni Scott Pederson Remembered

Scott Pederson, an alumni of Showtime USA, is a "Hero Among Men". He gave his life, so that his two sons might live. Please see: http://www.deseretnews.com/article/705318364/Drowned-rescuer-remembered-as-family-man.html

The following is a small tribute to the Scott We Remember:

The Scott We Remember

The Scott we remember
made us laugh ‘til we cried.
Never judged anything,
at least not ‘til he tried.
The Scott we remember
could be obnoxious and loud.
He could always be spotted
standing out in a crowd.
The Scott we remember
had a mischievous grin.
He was blonde haired and
smiling, and athletically thin.
The Scott we remember
loved life to its peak.
He was courageous and giving
and not the least bit weak.
The Scott we remember
strived to do what was right.
He stood strong in his faith,
and to his family gave light.
The Scott we remember
gave his very last breathe.
As a hero, he is remembered,
beyond his own mortal death.
The Scott we remember
will live on in us all.
All he wants us to remember
is that life is a ball.
